Evaristo offers unique strengths and experience in 3 key areas of speaker development: Design & Build, Appearance, Performance.
1. Design & Build
The first step in Evaristo Audio’s process involves designing speakers using the latest audio engineering knowledge and software systems. Artisan craftsmanship techniques, with all work performed in Ontario, are then used to convert the design into reality.
Specific differentiating features of this holistic process include:
- Driver component designs: Improvements in key driver designs impact positively on performance and provide enhanced transient handling capability, wider frequency response, and improved sensitivity. Other optimized driver performance features include:
- damping factor
- stiffness-to-weight ratio
- voice coil cooling
- voice coil magnetic fields.
- Driver Central Plug: Where applicable, a carefully designed metal plug eliminates the need for the additional mass of a dust cap. This offers several advantages including a reduction in lateral wave energy interference, fewer unwanted peaks and dips in frequency response, and lower driver inductance to better modulate amplifier-speaker load.
- Soundwave Reduction System (SRS): Inside a speaker cabinet, during playback, standing waves and cabinet resonances are created which have a negative effect on the original, audio signal. A key feature of all Evaristo Audio speakers is the use of Evaristo’s SRS, a unique, dual-component system that reduces the deleterious effects of those standing waves and cabinet resonances. Two different densities of materials, designed to absorb frequencies across the entire audible spectrum, are applied at strategic locations inside the cabinet and generate significant reductions in those sound destroying aspects. This results in enhanced speaker sensitivity, improved performance, and, ultimately, an outstanding listener experience.
- Unique internal bracing systems enhance further the reduction of internal standing sound waves inside the speaker cabinet
- Foot decoupling: A robust, rubber foot system is used to decouple the speaker from the supporting surface (floor, shelf) to improve bass response and acoustic imaging.
2. Appearance
Modern, elegant, lean, and perfectly functional are some of the adjectives that describe Evaristo Audio’s speakers. They are a showpiece addition to one’s personal living environment and can reflect on every style of interior taste. Some of the unique features include:
- off-center driver location to minimize standing waves and other interference issues
- wide ranges of styles and sizes. Finishing choices include:
- Black or white matte basecoat with polyurethane topcoat
- Real wood veneer (American oak) with black water-based stain and polyurethane topcoat
- Real wood veneer (American walnut or African mahogany with clear hard wax oil finish
3. Performance
Whether it is capturing the warmth of deep bass tones or the expansiveness of brilliant high-frequency peaks, Evaristo Audio’s speakers will your demanding needs. The ultimate test is in the listening and Evaristo is sure to meet your needs.
